I just wish blacks would stop and realize they are being used by their own. They are being told lies by individuals of their own race to scare them into voting for a black person.
July 21, 2010 at 2:36 pm
What a tired and lame premise to run on. Sad really.
July 21, 2010 at 2:39 pm
Hey Ieshuh! Next time you try and run for a spot as a representative, or anything for that matter, why dont you try not being a racist? Seems like a little bit better of an approach than racism. You all complain about racism all the time. Get over it. All you are doing is showing the whole world how uneducated you are, and how narrow minded you are. Congratulations on being a piece of trash. Maybe a white person should run under the slogan “Not a black persons crutch” …but then again if that happened I’m sure it would be racist since the roles were reversed aye? Next time you decide to do something like this go get an education first…”you all” tend to get all of the scholarship money so I’m sure it would be easy for you…
July 21, 2010 at 2:45 pm
RACIST pure and simple! You can’t call this anything but. You should be ashamed of yourself! You are not a solution, only part of the problem. All you are doing with this slogan is propagating segration, not abolishing it! SHAME ON YOU!
July 22, 2010 at 2:10 am
Hey pot, what are you saying to the kettle? Holy crap your comments later on are disgusting!

Get used to the prison life you ignorant soul. You’ll never have a better life or society with an attitude like that.

Listen up. If you haden’t been brought to America by white mean people and your people hadn’t suffered as slaved you would have still been in Africa dieing of hunger and chopped by machetesfor a dollar. You are lucky cause you are not here in Africa. I would be happy if I could be in America where you are. So GEt an education and make something out of your life. Fight for what your ancestors died for. They died as slaves and had a horrible life. And you have the oportunity to have a good life and get an education. But yet you talk as if you are here in Africa. But you are not. Try to be here. Try to live here and sleep in dirt with no bed no food, maybe one meal a day. The kids here have no future. They’d die to be an American as you. And you talk shit. you talk like you are a victim. You dont fight for us. But please do. Do the things as a black american that we your brothers cannot do here in the African countries. Show us that we dont die and suffer here for nothing. I would switch places with you anyday. So my brother and my brothers. Please dont be victims. Make a life for yourselves for us who cannot. Who will forever die here never having seen better. do it for us who havent got the chance.
September 22, 2010 at 12:32 pm
Wait a minute. I could not resist to comment on this poor recollection of African (American) history.
If there had been no slave trade there would be no hunger in Africa. This hunger is due to the exploitation of the land by outsiders, mainly Europeans who have gained control over the RESOURCES in Africa after the slave trade ended. Secondly, the “cutting off of limbs for a dollar” though not totally correct was a practice that began with King Leopold of Belgium who exploited the Congo and would commission other Africans to go into the interior of the Congo and whoever resisted the exploitation was to be killed, the proof was a hand or limb, which the murderer would be paid on a piece by piece basis, proving how many he had killed. It is said that he commissioned 5 to 15 million murders of African people and never put his foot on the soil.
If you are in Africa, it is sad that you cannot get control of the land that IS our ancestors and being ON that land you and our other brethren have failed to protect the land of their birth. Are YOU aware of the RESOURCES that come OUT of Africa, that support the entire world? And YOU are in poverty? I think you need to look internally for the answers to those questions.
Of course you would switch places, being able to earn a living beats not being able to earn one but the key for US here in amerikkka is the hypersegregation, the drug infilitration, the joblessness, the “blame the victim” mentality, the overall prejudice and overt racism that has reigned in this country SINCE physical enslavement ended. One of the saddest things is the FACT that at least during slavery WE knew who our enemy was, today we haven’t a clue because there are some “good white folks” and even in that goodness it’s hard to tell if we benefit or they benefit. And secondly what is even sadder is the DIVIDE between US and Africans FROM the continent. I know we don’t want to admit that but I see the separation and I clearly understand it.
But in all, it is apparent YOU don’t know the deep psychological history of Black people in America and what the process of being STOLEN and SOLD from their natural environment has done to US. I suggest you begin to do some research and talk to some of us instead of assuming that everything is roses because your peering from a place where what you are fed about us comes from those who historically tries to castigate and stereotype each and everyone of us and because we have beds and running water. All is NOT golden in America and again, with the RESOURCES that come OUT of Africa you should have STREETS PAVED WITH GOLD and GOLDEN FOUNTAINS not just draped on some paramount chief, now that is what “I” SEE from the documentaries about AFRICA. Appears to be a lot of displacement even with the wealth that I know of there. What do you think about that?
September 22, 2010 at 12:35 pm
Oh yeah, I forgot to add with the limb cutting practice that this is where that originates and has been used as a form of intimidation because the people whose limbs are cut off now are ALIVE and left with nubs to be an example to those who would even THINK of resistance.

That’s a really ignorant view “Tubesock”…It people like you that further stereotypes and foster hate. I love white women and I love my beautiful, thick thicked ebony princesses too. That doesn’t mean I am a racist, it means I am a HU-MAN…we are all one. Look at our president, he is the product of a by racial marriage and one of the best presidents we’ve ever had. You need to get you heart right and learn to love your fellow man. Just because the government is corrupt and prejudiced doesn’t mean that every white person is.
Atron
July 21, 2010 at 4:15 pm
“YOUR” thick thicked ebony princesses???????? WHAT????? YOURS????!!. I don’t think so, Lincoln freed the slaves and the womens’ movement freed women. You OWN no one, got that?
July 21, 2010 at 4:10 pm
@Andy and Antron, God you are soooo stupid!! Can’t you see “tubesock shakur” isn’t for real. Probably a white person doing his/her Black stereotype.
On the real though, if you don’t live in her district, you need to shut up. It is apparent that those who she got signatures from to qualify to be on the ballet felt what she was saying (oh yeah and SHE got the signature herself, not someone else collecting them for her, which means she actually TALKED to the people, got that?).
Not only that, you need to look at the majority of her marginalized potential constituency. They are probably sick and tired of “smooth talkin'” politicians who do not represent them or fight for them and want and need someone who feels and shares their pain, not folks, who for one has lineage as “career” politicians. While I wouldn’t be brave enough to run with a banner like that, with my understanding of politics in Milwaukee and how this will be spent (just reading the comments here is an indicator) in the media and everywhere else. I am sure that Ieeshuh can articulate exactly what she means by the statement and I don’t consider it racist because I KNOW what she means, she is just taking it to the streets. And I think in a debate she will put all of em on front street, I know they will be embarrassed. Pure colloquialism nothing more, but then I wouldn’t expect you to understand that. As it stands now they are trying to deny her of her right of expression on that ballot, but that is a fight they won’t win, as those people who put their signatures on the line for her name to be on the ballot was okay with it and they are some of the people she will be representing. So YOU spew YOUR hate, prejudice and stereotype all you wish, it doesn’t matter if you don’t live in that district. GET A DAMN LIFE.
July 21, 2010 at 4:18 pm
Queen Ifama, I will respond to hate where ever it exists, whether from some e-thug trying to e-rape white women like ‘tubesock’ or some aunt jemima reject like yourself. Secondly genius, you stated earlier that you don’t live in her district and yet you tell everyone else not to have an opinion unless they DO live in her district. You must be some kind of scientist or legal scholar. As for getting a ‘life’…you posted the longest comment on here by far…again, did all that bleaching and straightener fry your brain? Take your own advice. If I wanted this long of an opinion from you, I would’ve asked for ketchup at the drive thru when you gave me my happy meal.

July 21, 2010 at 4:26 pm
Glad I made you happy, wipe. No I don’t live in her district but I am not discouraging her either, like you. You may think she is racist, I don’t, she don’t have the power to be a racist in the first place. I can see you don’t know what a racist is. I still say your dumb to believe a “tubesock” and waste time responding to IT. As far as my long comment, well……. YOU read it AND commented on it. How about that SCIENCE? I am not the ONE. NUFF SAID
July 21, 2010 at 5:15 pm
The fact that you don’t think that she’s racist just sillouettes your own racism. Political correctness is coming to an end, and leeches like you will no longer be able to hide behind the veil of having one over on “whitey” with regards to them being scared to call you welfare sponging dregs of society out. When the shit hits the fan in this country thanks to your worthless president, and the country goes bankrupt, who’s going to pay for your hair, nails and cell phones then? Holy shit, does that mean you might actually have to work and not rely on the government? I guess you’re shit out of luck then huh. Study your history….. the whole slave movement started because of Africans, not the Europeans. Sure, the Europeans profited and took place in the movement, but all of your problems, today included, are of your own people’s doing. Get over it. Your ancestors that were brought to this continent were the weaker peoples of Africa.
Don’t like it? Tough. It’s factual and it’s history. Stop blaming the “crackas” and start looking at your own ancestory. Get off of the tit of the government and make something of yourself for once in your pathetic life. YOU ARE THE RACIST AND WILL NEVER CHANGE! SHAME ON YOU AND ALL THE THINK LIKE YOU!
July 21, 2010 at 5:30 pm
I actually happen to agree with you in regards to most politicians. That being said, Racism is never an appropriate platform to run on, and that’s exactly what this poor ignorant young lady is trying to do. Two wrongs never make a right, and once the ignorant are educated and they refuse to change their beliefs, then they are no longer ignorant, but stupid and dangerous.
I also agree that most of the government is corrupt but once again, two wrongs……..
So here’s the question, are you ignorant or stupid?
July 21, 2010 at 6:16 pm
If your asking me, I will say neither, but it doesn’t matter anyway, you can think what you wish. I just would like to know why do you think everyone is on the “tit’ of the government? Just askin. Dangerous, yeah, I think the truth can be dangerous. But dangerous to WHO is the question. I think she knows EXACTLY what she is saying and fully aware of what the reaction to her platform would be. I think the joke will be on everyone. But then, I think politics are a joke on the people period. it’s a game where you use every card in the deck your given. However, I find it interesting how true feelings can be revealed: “the whole slave movement started because of Africans, not the Europeans. Sure, the Europeans profited and took place in the movement, but all of your problems, today included, are of your own people’s doing. Get over it. Your ancestors that were brought to this continent were the weaker peoples of Africa.” This is good food for my show because we must show the people that you truly exist. Of course your invited as I will be quoting you, thanks I really appreciated it. For Real.

Most of these lames on here make comments won’t show their faces. COWARDS!! They hide behind avatars. They throw rocks and hide their hands. July 21, 2010 at 4:42 pm
Wow. I am curious did you get this big head from being an extra on planet of the apes or because you can fit the keys to your 1984 cutlass in that two car garage nose of yours? Unfortunately for you dummy, you got caught in another lie, you changed your name to ‘anonymous’ but forgot to remove your picture, that’s why you are coming forward to say that ridiculous shit. I can see you pulling your finger outta your ass to scratch your nappy head while pondering “how dey know who I be?” Well, there’s how dipshit. By the by. where are you exactly a ‘Queen’? Are you in combat with “queen latifah” or “prince”? Seriously, you smell like a mixture of cocoa butter, failure and sea shells from those cheap ass earrings….I do commend you for pawing at that computer long enough to type out a response no matter how riddled with grammatical and spelling errors.

Insults mean nothing, dont’ bother one who know themselves, but anyway, I didn’t need a name, I used my email address, I know it’s attached to my account, I have a picture, and I knew the picture would show. I am not that dumb, idiot. Interesting how you can smell through a computer. You are seriously a piece of work, ha ha ha ha. You make laugh, you are too funny. I have ran into your type before, your hilarious, you need a spot on a show like Hee Haw. Geez too funny. Got my laugh for the day.

I’m hackin’ away, be seeing you soon, darlin, LOL Time to pull the curtain back on the “wizard”. He he hehehehe
July 21, 2010 at 8:54 pm
Ieshuh- Keep gettin’ all the press you can. You hit a nerve with whitey, and I think it’s hilarious. From the responses, you can see that whitey feels threatened; like the brothers and sisters are gonna take some shit back for all those years of stealin’, kickin’, lynchin’, rapin’, shootin’ and getting away with nearly all of it.
If the injunction doesn’t work, leave yourself time to change your slogan on the ballot to “Not the man’s bitch”, because everyone knows who “the man” is. It’s that motherfucker in my rear view mirror for one and it’s that fat sow on the street looking at me sideways as I stroll on by.
Peace.
PS: I’m about as white as they come, but I love my black brothers and sisters!
July 22, 2010 at 12:07 am
wow.
Disgruntled white people like nothing better than to have a black person to point to and scream “RACIST!” While I do believe that racism is a two-way street, I also believe that white people have no grounds to claim it until they have been refused a job or a place to live or pulled-over (or had someone cross the street or clutch their purse tighter) because of their skin color. If I got the shit kicked outta me by a bunch of black guys who made a point of my whiteness while they were doing it, that would indeed be racism. Isolated incidents like that do happen. But the scale of harm between white-on-black racism and black-on-white racism is literally mountains to molehills—both historically and on a daily basis. Seems like such an elementary thing to know, but apparently there are a lot of white people who are completely ignorant of that fact.
July 22, 2010 at 2:07 am
Go Ieshuh!
July 22, 2010 at 8:59 am
So you aren’t the “White Mans Bitch”
Your just a plain old run of the mill bitch!
LoL, try running for dog catcher first(or should I say bitch catcher)than work your way up to something with a bit more responsibility. Too many people like you already with a skewed agenda and pointed of view.
But wait, that is the type of person that does elected in your area.
Never mind missy carry on. You definitely are going places.
July 22, 2010 at 9:45 am
Sheesh people,
Look, what she said was, if not racist, at least offensive. What does that statement relay? Is she going to buck every point in office that appear white motivated, better for whites, worse for blacks? If so, then she is working strictly for her race and not her district. Exactly what she is claiming the whites do. Are there whites in her district? Latino’s? What percent? Is she going to represent their interests too, or just the black?
As far as some the other comments on here the simple truth is this. Want to change the world as you see it? Change you own personal world first.
Education. Education. Education. Leave no child behind is a farce. You can’t drag someone around who doesnt want to move. The education of the child is directly motivated and supported/not supported by the parents. Be accountable for getting your child to school, make sure the study and do their homework. Make sure their priorities are in place, the proper place.
America is not a entitlement country. It is an opportunity country. Everyone, and I do mean EVERYONE, has the opportunity to make the life of their dreams. It starts with education. There are no jobs above poverty leve that don’t require at least a high school degree. And if you want to make a good living as a professional in any area it usually requires a colege degree.
Do you want to change the opinions of those in power (mainly white)? Then you need to have their attention and be able to communicate your message in a manner that gives you credibility in their eyes. Improper english, gramatics, and slang will not do it. So where do you get that? School.
You don’t change the situation by changing others, you change yourself. Are you willing to take those steps?
And as an added note; Tubesock is an embarrassment to his/her race, regardless which one that is.
July 23, 2010 at 7:18 am
I think that the only reference she made to a “race” was the in the title statement itself. What she proposes to work at halting is in the rest of her statement, which many, I see, have failed to read. It certainly made folks pay attention to someone they have ignored for years about the injustice that she and her family has experienced as well as the rest of Milwaukee. and when NOT ONE “elected official” stood up for her family, heeded their pleas for help, intercession and assistance, and many were women with children themselves. I can certainly understand why she would seek to change things “by any means necessary”, as a system of justice is to get help to those who need it the most and that is the poor and disenfranchised. Who really represents them in the halls of injustice? Who really investigates what is really going on? Many have tried, some have died and were jailed for their efforts. This has turned many into “pets” of the “system”. And we all know who this “system” protects, who it is designed for, and who benefits in the long run. I don’t think there is a NICE way to call a “spade a spade” under the circumstances. Like Tina Turner says sometimes we have to do it rough. This certainly is rough and it appears that many can’t handle the underlying truth of it all. It’s a bitter pill.
Yeah, she mentions slavery and as a Black person I can understand the historical connection to Black people in particular, but then there is a mental slavery of the entire country and THAT is what she is getting at, with the 10th being the micro of the macro. Calling it racist is a smoke screen to what it really is. WHAT IS POLITICS REALLY? Is what she is saying. WHO REALLY REPRESENTS US? WHO MAKES THE DECISIONS AS WE HAVE SEEN VIABLE JOBS LEAVE THE CITY? WHO CARES ABOUT EQUAL EDUCATION? WHO CARES ABOUT THE PRISONS BRIMMING? Oh we are suppose to just “grin and bear it”? I think the time for shucking and jiv ing, smooth talking and negotiating is OVER. It’s time to pull back the curtain and people like Ieeshuh aint’ wasting time being “NICE”.
July 22, 2010 at 10:56 am
I am a white man running for State Representative in PA as a Libertarian which is almost like running as an Independent. I don’t see anything racial about her campaign and, if it were possible, I would be glad to stand beside her to show the world that not ALL white men even want her to be their bitch. But view her as their equal.
July 23, 2010 at 7:25 am
Vance, I think this was the most sensical statement so far. Equality being an equal say in the system, with even those who are “not connected” being heard through their “representatives”. The problem is the game of politics itself and what it REALLY is, even though it is touted FOR THE PEOPLE. It appears that the “people” are only used as pawns in this game of politicians. I would rather have someone “represent ” me, which means they have heard ME and are expressing my concerns and listening to what “I” think is a viable solution not what they individually think a solution is FOR me. Which has HISTORICALLY proved to not be a solution at all to the problems we face but a boost to their own personal careers. Good luck on your run.
July 22, 2010 at 1:08 pm
I know you cowards are glad you can hide behind your wi-fi and say the dumb and silly sh-t that you obviously give no thought to and cant be held accountable for. FYI-the real world is outside your door, and if and when you step out into the reality of daylight it will be quite clear that you all are cartoon characters with cartoon minds.

Should a candidate win an election if they’re campaign is built on a foundation of racial rhetoric? This is exactly what we see at the top of this page, racism pure and simple. Pro-black racism to be sure, but just plain, basic hating people because of the color of their skin, nonetheless. Hear that rumble in the distance? It’s the sound of Martin Luther King spinning in his grave.
July 23, 2010 at 6:44 am
I think most don’t know the origin or inspiration of this “ballot statement”. It actually comes from the rap artist Aisha Sekhmet who wrote a song ” You the white man’s Bitch”. I suggest people listen to it. REALLY listen to it. It is on youtube. The song itself says a lot. It may be a little “racey” for sensitive ears but those who can see past the veil of so-called “reality” and “decency” will understand it.
July 23, 2010 at 7:59 am
I think the race issue is blown out of proportion on both sides, and my issue with this document is simply that it looks unprofessional to me. Her platform is based around fighting for the people, which I get, but I just feel as though she could be taken more seriously with a less casual picture and a better substantiation of her claims. Beginning with “Not the White…” automatically puts whites on the defensive and, in their view, suggests she will go out of her way to benefit her race, not the people as a whole. It will be interesting to see what else she has to say.
July 23, 2010 at 9:58 am
You know Anon, I don’t think she was going for “professional” but I do see where you are coming from. I think she is really speaking to a whole different constituency and may just get them involved, simply by using the language, that many, outside of those on this forum understand. Wouldn’t it be something if the voting in that district suddenly tripled? It would be a sight to see. The test though as usual is when all the rhetoric dies down, and she wins, will she be able to keep her promises or will she serve as a continued example of how people get in office and do absolutely nothing for their constituents, lke talk with them, meet with them, visit them, aren’t afraid of them etc. You know that running for office is mostly always filled with “good intent” but it is after one gets in there that has proven, to me, to be a failure and I only base that on the conditions that I see. I just wonder if ANY ONE person in political office can really do anything, or will it be the people themselves who bring about change in their communities and subsequently make their “representative” accountable for the services they are supposedly guaranteed.
. Secondly, I guess it is okay to be for YOUR people as long as you don’t say it, huh? Well we KNOW that one, is historical with whites but that aside, I don’t see anything wrong with looking out for one’s own, however it shouldn’t be at the expense of others. Annnnnnd, it’s also apparent that Black people either can’t , don’t or won’t “look out for their own” , with the exception of “personal” family members and friends, And IF they do, I mean, even SPEAK on that, they get called a racist and all other kinds of stuff, Malcolm X is a perfect example, and there are many others, right here in Milwaukee, just check the history. It’ s like it’s forbidden for Black people to SAY they are for Black people primarily and all other people secondarily. We are to be the perpetual servants always looking out for the interests of others and hoping we will get ours by and by, I suppose. I guess the TABOO is in SAYING IT, cause Lawd knows other folks have been and still are doing it since the classifying of the people. In this country it iIS based on race FIRST, no matter how they try to spend “class”, it starts there FIRST. Why we are afraid to point that out baffles me, even thought it is in our faces.
FOR ALL YOU SNIPPET READERS, GRAMMAR EXPERTS AND TYPO HOUNDS, OUT THERE. PLEASE EXCUSE ME IF I AM A TAD LONG WINDED AND GRAMATICALLY INCORRECT. Read past em, if you can. LOL

Ieshuh,
Just saw your spot on the Daily Show. I know absolutely nothing about you personally or your politics (other than that you are a democrat — which I completely approve of) — but I have to say I love your slogan (even being a “white” man). However, I think your slogan should have been your explanation of “New Booty” — “Not your same old ass” — as ass = donkey = democrat. “Not your same old ass” = “Not your same old democrat.” My best guess is that you chose the inflammatory statement to get some national recognition. Good job. Next time, go with “not the same old ass.” less offensive and genius in my honest opinion. I’d vote for you. Can I take you out sometime? = I’d love to fuck your sexy booty.
